If you are en employer with at least 250 employees, IRS has released draft forms for reporting ACA compliance. Reporting begins January 2016 for the prior year, 2015. These drafts became available on July 24, 2014
• Draft Form 1094-C -- transmittal form which includes ALE (Applicable Large Employer demographic information, number of Employees and number of Participants
• Draft Form 1095-C -- contains numbers of covered employees, Employee Cost Sharing for health insurance
• Draft Form 1094-B -- monthly numbers participating in Employer self-funded plan are to be listed with their SSN and/or DOB
• Draft Form 1095-B -- allows ALE to report demographics on Responsible Party, ER sponsored information and covered Employee’s name, SSN and/or DOB
Draft instructions relating to these forms are expected to be posted on IRS.gov in August 2014 and to finalize both the forms and instructions later this year.
